Dr. Regina Notz, EU Grants Access, ETH Zürich/University of Zürich

Short biography:
Regina works for EU GrantsAccess as a senior research manager since 2009. She studied at ETH Zurich, where she also did her PhD. Her PhD was followed by a PostDoc as a Marie Curie Industrial Fellow at the Unilever Research and Health Institute in the Netherlands. Regina stayed for 5.5 years with Unilever, moving from basic research towards product development and managed the dairy category supply chain and innovation microbiology team. Back in Switzerland, Regina followed up on her passion for research management at her current position in the international grants office of ETH and University of Zurich. She also obtained a Certificate of Advanced Studies in project management and manages multiannual projects with several academic and industrial partners sponsored by the European Commission. Besides supporting researchers with EU projects, Regina is also in charge of providing assistance with US federal funds.




Dr. Alexandra Zingg, EU Grants Access, ETH Zürich/University of Zürich

Short biography:
Research Manager at EU GrantsAccess, is promoting research on an international level by means of actively giving advice and support to scientists and their research projects at every stage of their individual projects or careers. She has a Master of Cognitive and Decision Sciences from the University of Basel and received her Dr. sc. ETH Zürich in 2012. Before returning to ETH Zürich as a Research Manager for EU GrantsAccess in 2015, she worked as Project Leader for Academic Relations at swissnex Boston, one of five so-called Scientific Consulates of Switzerland, working on the edge of education, research and innovation.
