Short biography:
Sara Da Ros conducted her undergraduate studies in Organic Chemistry at University of Zurich. After graduation in 2014, she moved to the US and worked as an intern at the Genomics Institute of the Novartis Research Foundation in San Diego, CA. In 2015, she returned to Switzerland to pursue her doctoral studies in synthetic methodology in the group of Prof. J. W. Bode at ETH Zurich. Sara Da Ros joined WiNS in 2015 and became president of the society in January 2017. During this time, she was mainly responsible for organizing career and awareness events to provide a connecting platform for women in natural sciences at D-CHAB.
