2022 PULSE/CFEL Ultrafast X-ray Summer School

Location SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory
Program The 2022 PULSE/CFEL Ultrafast X-ray Summer School will take place at the
SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory this summer (June 20-23). Please
consider registration and forward this announcement to anyone that might
be interested.

We are currently planning for an in-person meeting at SLAC National
Accelerator Laboratory, Menlo Park, CA, USA. However, it is not clear
that this will be possible given the status of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The school will feature lectures from experts in ultrafast X-ray
science. In addition, we are planning activities to further engage
students including laboratory sessions aimed at teaching students how to
analyze datasets recorded at XFEL facilities.

Registration information can be found on the website
(https://web.stanford.edu/group/pulse_institute/uxss2022/ ), along with
the full speaker list, and a full agenda. Registration is open till
June 1 2022. We will try to offer travel stipends to as many
students as possible.
