Program Welcome to ICUIL 2014 in Goa !

High Intensity Laser aficionados and enthusiasts!

Here is the first word on ICUIL 2014 to be held in India during October 12-17, 2014. The venue will be Hotel Cidade de Goa, located on a pristine, beautiful beach in the city of Goa, a famous leisure destination on the west coast of India about 600 kms south of Mumbai (Bombay).

As you know, this is a major conference in the ultraintense laser area that brings together 150-200 of the world´s best high intensity laser technologists and physicists. The conference is held every two years and the previous ones were at RAL, UK (2004), Monterey, USA (2006), Shanghai, China (2008), Watkins Glenn, USA (2010) and Mamaia, Romania (2012).

ICUIL 2014 will happen at a time when several new initiatives like the ELI, HIPER and IZEST will advance to a significant level and the stage will be set for exciting interactions at the conference.
